Technique Classes

Constantly varied, functional exercises, performed under high intensity. This is the definition of CrossFit as the founder Greg Glassman intended in the year 2000.  
For the past 22 years the sport and community has changed, but the foundation remains the same. 
Move well, or you can not build intensity in your workout. If you go too heavy, too fast, or for too long with an improper form, you will get hurt sooner than later. 

Intensity is the shortcut to results, so we need a strong foundation with a clear understanding of the correct technique, for we wíll fatigue. 

Join our technique classes every Wednesday at 19:00. 

With a 6 week program you can cover all the important movements and learn more about the correct technique to keep you healthy on your road to elite fitness. 

The classes contain a warm up, skill session and a light to moderate intense workout and are designed for members of every level. 

These classes are an absolute must for beginners, but also the more advanced members that struggle with the finesse of a Muscle up, Squat Snatch or Split Jerk.

Give your kids the gift of fitness

After some tough negotiations with the fit parents of our soon to be fit kids, we’re changing the start times/days for the kids classes for your convenience. 

  • Tuesday 16:30 Teens
  • Wednesday 15:30 6-10 yrs
  • Friday 15:30 3-5 yrs
  • Friday 16:30 Teens 

Lat Pull Down and Squat Belt Machine

Give a warm welcome to the newest members of the Open Gym team: The Lat pull down machine with a seated row option and the Belt squat machine with a bent-over row option. 

Please ask a coach on how to operate them, or check out this link for a demo video on our YouTube page.

Also, the new pegboard is up. Just a new toy to play with at your own risk, so stay safe please.
